Meet Ryan Radzisauskas, New Kent Service Technician and Delivery Driver

- 11:31 am - December 9th, 2015

Ryan Radzisaukas’ dream is rather simple.

To live off the grid with his wife in their Airstream camper traveling the United States.

But for now, newlyweds Ryan and Ashley, are living a simple, country life on their four acres of land in Mechanicsville, Va. with their two horses, Kevin and Benny, and a handful of chickens.

And today, Ryan is serving as a Service Technician and Delivery Driver out of Phillips Energy's New Kent location.

Ryan was born and raised in Sandston, Va. He graduated from Holland Springs High School and was accepted into Virginia Tech where he earned his Associate's Degree in agriculture.

For the next eight years, Ryan spent his summer and fall months farming out west in Buhler, KS and returned home to Virginia to deliver propane during the winter months.

The opportunity to join the Phillips team presented itself and with his experience, Ryan was hired to join the newly opened facility in New Kent as a Service Technician and Delivery Driver.

“I have really enjoyed working at Phillips,” said Ryan. “It’s all real family oriented.”

In his free time Ryan is working on restoring that Airstream camper, the one he plans to travel in. He enjoys camping and has a wish list of places to visit to include Monument Valley in Utah, Arizona and Mexico.

One item high up on his bucket list? To drive cross country!

Ryan’s wife does leather work, hand crafting and hand stamping a wide range of items. Together, they have a big appreciation for authentic items, including food! Ryan says he enjoys visiting Richmond because of the diverse food options.

Ryan volunteers with the Mennonite Disaster Relief when they have projects. Once a year he travels to sheet rock houses, paint or repair homes damaged by disasters.

Ryan may not be living off the grid quite yet, but he’s content working in New Kent.

“I grew up here. I like New Kent because it’s a smaller community, but mainly, it’s home.”
